Appointment booking
You will need a valid GP or specialist referral to make an appointment. Please contact Morrissey ENT to organise an appointment. You will be offered the next available appointment.
Due to the demand for appointments, Dr Morrissey reviews all referrals once received. It is important that you forward your referral to Dr Morrissey as soon as possible. This allows Dr Morrissey to review your referral and aids in planning for the consultation. In some cases, Dr Morrissey will organise any necessary tests before the appointment to facilitate a comprehensive consultation.
Appointment cancellation
Please notify Dr Morrissey’s office as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation. There is a long waiting list to see Dr Morrissey and his staff will endeavour to fill any cancellations to minimise waiting times.
Preparation for your consultation
Before visiting Dr Morrissey please ensure that his office has a copy of your valid referral. There will be administrative forms and medical questionnaires provided when you make your appointment. Please ensure that there are returned in a timely manner before your appointment to facilitate a smooth consultation process.
Additionally, be sure to consider the following questions:
- What is the main problem Dr Morrissey can help me with?
- How does this problem impact on my quality of life?
Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time.
What to bring to your consultation
- Medicare and Private Health Insurance cards for verification.
- All x-rays, scans, pathology or test results relating to your problem.
